It’s Not Too Late – Join Byron Bay Boardriders in 2025!

With Round One wrapped up, there’s still time to join Byron Bay Boardriders Club (BBB) for the 2025 season! If you or someone you know is considering signing up, now is the time.

For over 45 years, BBB has been the heartbeat of Byron’s surf community, supporting surfers of all ages and skill levels. Whether you’re a young grom just starting out or a seasoned competitor, BBB is the perfect place to hone your skills, compete, and connect with like-minded locals.

A Word from Our President

“I’ve been part of this club for over 45 years, and I’m incredibly proud of what it has achieved.

Byron is a proud surfing region with a gritty, high-performance underbelly, and our club is the heartbeat of a thriving local community. Surfing brings us together—it’s a constant source of conversation, camaraderie, and competition.

Over the years, Byron Bay Boardriders has produced champions, including Gary Timperley, Danny Wills, Kieran Perrow, Garrett Parkes, and Soli Bailey. More recently, we’ve seen surfers like Lehani Zoric and Dakoda Walters pushing their limits in pursuit of the World Championship Tour.

Most importantly, we are a family club that fosters involvement, offering coaching and training programs to support the next generation of surfers.”

Neil ‘Freddo’ Cameron, BBB President
